Self Reflection

Writing two drafts before writing my final paper was always beneficial. Putting all my ideas down and organizing it helped. In the future I would combine bullet points with free write because then there would be even more details. Having the groups was new to me but it was a positive experience, but it really seemed to work well. Seeing what other thought about my work helped me make some improvements, like adding more detail and checking my grammar and spelling.

Writing these type of paper for the first time was something different for me and I felt like I was able to actually talk about something that I care about. I could see the improvement that I made with my proofreading skills from the last paper that I wrote. But it was the fact that I wrote two drafts that in the end was extremely helpful. Writing the papers at times was hard because even though I knew what to say it was difficult to get to that point and not sound totally bias. Once that was settled it was all a matter of putting it together and everything flowed after that.

I was able to expand my mind on the subject that I felt so strongly about, and I was able to expand others minds. I’m overall really happy that I wrote two drafts before all of my papers because it supported me in the end. I loved the groups that I had review my paper because the response that I got made my papers different. I enjoyed working on these papers because everything that I was writing about was because I wanted to.

My experiences with the previous assignment affected my final paper extremely because I changed the way that I do most things. I decided to read through your comments throughily and because I went through it paragraph by paragraph I think it was beneficial. I tried to make the changes that you urged me to make and put my on spin on to the and I really feel as I was success doing so. I learned that by going through your comments piece by piece I would my it some much easier developing my paper.

I feel very successful with the way that I improved my editing system because that is a big part in the writing process. My revision process has been improved over time and I’m really happy with the way that it has because I feel that having a good revision process produce a good grade.

The course learning outcomes that I have addressed in completing this assignment was enhance strategies for reading, drafting, revising, editing, and self-assessment. I feel that I addressed these outcomes because I tried to improve these thing all along the way of writing this paper. I have also practice using various library resources, online databases, and the Internet to locate sources appropriate to your writing projects. Learning how to use the database was the most beneficial thing for me because it made it easier to find sources. Some of the course learning outcomes I did not understand, but do feel that the ones that I do understand did improve significantly.
